Prom 2025

What do I need to get into Prom? What is my ticket?
 

You will need your 2024-25 Pacifica ID Card (or studentvue with your picture) to be checked in electronically. 

Only those students who purchased tickets and their guests will be on the prom list and will be admitted.
Guests must enter with the PHS student who bought their ticket.
After students/guests are checked in, they will receive a special wristband.
Everyone must wear the wristband to have access to the prom areas.

Student entry to Prom is through the gate entrance of the Camarillo Ranch House between 7:30-8:30pm.
Look for the signs at the venue directing you to Pacifica High School Prom.
Do not arrive before 7pm. You will not be allowed in early.

Doors close at 8:30pm. NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER 8:30PM.

The invitation card and the receipt are NOT a ticket. 
There are no ticket sales at Prom. 

NOTE: If you gave your receipt or invitation to another student or switched guests and did not notify Mr. Castañón of those changes, those names NOT appearing on the Prom list will be denied entry.

Is there a security check at Prom? What is not allowed inside the venue?

Students and their guests attending prom will go through a security screening.
Students may also be subject to sobriety screening If the need arises.
If a student or guest does not pass the security screening, they will not be allowed into Prom. Administration will contact parents (and law enforcement if necessary).

The following are not allowed inside the facility.
Don’t bring them. You may be asked to throw them away.

• gum
• open mint containers
• large bags or backpacks
• water bottles
• filled beverage cups
• glass perfume/cologne bottles
• markers/pens/pencils
• cigarettes or vape pens
• lighters or matches
• glow in the dark items
• wallet chains
• baseball caps
• any illegal contraband (alcohol/drugs)
• any weapons or sharp objects

Any students who brings prescription medication will need to speak with administration at check in.

How do I get to Prom? Where do I park?

Prom begins at 7:30pm. We highly recommend you leave Oxnard by 6:45pm and allow time for traffic, parking, and check-in.

The Camarillo Ranch House is located at  201 Camarillo Ranch Rd, Camarillo, CA 93012, 10 miles from Pacifica.

• Travel south on the 101 Freeway, exit on Dawson Dr. (53A).
• After exiting the freeway, make your first right onto Petit St.
• Travel west on Petit St. and make a right onto Dawson Dr.
• Continue on Dawson Dr. under the freeway. The road will curve right and become Mission Oaks Blvd.
• Continue a Mission Oaks Blvd. until you come to Camarillo Ranch Road.
• Turn left on Camarillo Ranch Road. The venue will be on the right about 1/4 of a mile.
• Parking is on the street.
   

Parking for the Ranch House is on the street, Camarillo Ranch Road.
Do NOT park in the neighboring business parking lots. You may be ticketed or towed.

Students will not be allowed to park on the Ranch House property- please keep the driveway area clear for drop-offs.

If you are being dropped off, for the safety of you and others, please make sure your driver does not stop in the middle of the street. Pull over first.

NOTE: Students & guests will NOT be able to go back to their car/limo after entering prom to get or put back things. Plan ahead.

What will the weather be like at Prom?

Temperatures for the evening of April 25 are expected to be in the low 60s and high 50s.
The dance floor area, dining tables, and activities will be located outside.

What is happening at Prom?

Prom is from 7:30-11:30pm

• Check-in is from 7:30-8:30pm
• Dinner is served from 8:00-9:30pm
• Doors close at 8:30pm.
• Dessert is from 9:30pm to 11pm.
• Prom Royalty Coronation at 10:15pm
• Prom ends at 11:30pm.

Prom is a semi-formal event.
Remember to keep it “classy”.

Will there be professional photos at Prom? How much will they be?

Monarch Photography will be taking Prom photos at the Ranch House from 7:30-9:00pm.
Monarch will take cash, cash, credit card, or ApplePay at the prom site.

What activities are at Prom?

In the Ranch House/Lawn Area:

• Dancing  8:30 -11:30pm.
• 360 Photo Booth  8:00-11:00pm
• Prom 2025 Photo Props
• Caricature Artists 7:30-10:30pm

All activities listed above are included in your prom ticket: no extra charge.

In Barn area:

• Monarch Photography (separate charge)
• Sensory-Calming Area
• Coat check

When do we vote for Prom Royalty?

Prom royalty voting will take place as you first enter the Prom venue near the side of the Ranch House.

Those attending prom may vote for up to 2 nominees.
Voting will take place until 9pm

The nominees are:

• Kathy Guerrero

The 2 Prom Royals will be announced at 10:15pm.

Where is the Coat Check?

Coat check will be in the Barn Area near the restrooms. 
Coat check is complementary.
Only coats, shoes, and purses will be accepted.
We will not hold cell phones or other electronic devices.

Please be sure to pick-up your items prior to 11:30pm

When can I leave Prom?

Prom ends at 11:30pm.
If you choose to leave earlier, you will not be able to re-enter.
You may not leave to put or get something from a car, bus, or limo and re-enter.

Once Prom is over you will need to leave the venue in a timely manner.
