Prom 2022

What do I need to get into Prom? What is my ticket?

You will need your 2021-22 Pacifica ID Card (or studentvue with your picture) to be checked in. 
Only those students and guest names who purchased tickets will be admitted. Bring your receipt.
NOTE: If you gave your receipt or invitation to another student or switched guests and did not notify Mr. Castañón of those changes, those names not appearing on the Prom list will be denied entry.
The invitation card you were given is not a ticket.

Where is the entrance to Prom?

The Camarillo Ranch House is located at 201 Camarillo Ranch Rd, Camarillo, CA 93012.
You will be entering the venue through the main gate off of Camarillo Ranch Road.

If you drive, you will need to park along Ranch Road. Please read the signs of the neighboring businesses as they do not allow parking in their lots.
If you are being dropped off, please do not stop in front of the entrance.
NOTE: Once you have entered Prom, you will not be allowed to leave to your car to either put things in or get something out of it. Leaving the property means that you will not be returning.

Is there a security check?

Yes, students attending prom and their guests will go through a security screening.
Students may also be subject to sobriety screening If the need arises.

The following are not allowed inside the facility: gum, open mint containers, chains, canes, glow in the dark items, lighters/matches, water bottles, sharp objects, markers/pens/pencils, any illegal contraband (alcohol/drugs), glass containers with perfume or cologne. Don’t bring them.

Where is Prom check-in?

After going through the screening, check-in will be in front of the Red Barn at the Ranch House between 7:00-8:30pm. 
You will need your 2021-22 Pacifica ID Card (or studentvue with your picture) to be checked in.
You will be given a wristband after checking in. You must wear it while at Prom.

What is the latest I can arrive at Prom?

We will stop doing check-in at 8:30pm.
NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER 8:30pm. 

When is dinner and what will be served?

Dinner is served from 7:30-9:00pm.
Dessert is served from 9:30-11:00pm.
All food and beverage is included in your ticket.

What activities will be at Prom?

Dancing will start at sunset until 11pm.
Caricature artists.
Tarot card reader.
Lawn games: cornhole, golf.
Horse and carriage ride: 7:30-9:30pm

All activities are included in your prom ticket: no extra charge.

Will there be a coat check at Prom? 

There is a complementary coat check located in the Red Barn.
Only coats, shoes, and purses will be accepted at check in.

We will not hold cell phones or other electronic devices.

Will there be professional photos taken at Prom?

Monarch photography will be taking Prom photos in the Barn at Prom from 7-9pm.
This is an additional cost not part of your Prom ticket.

When can I leave Prom?

Prom ends at 11pm.
If you choose to leave earlier, you will not be able to re-enter.

What if I'm unable to attend Prom? Can I get a refund?

If you are unable to attend, you cannot give your ticket to another student, as that ticket is in your name only.

You will only be able to get a partial refund, as we will have submitted our meal totals to the caterer. See Mr. Castañón on Tuesday.
(An exception will be made for EXTREME circumstances only)
