Mathematics
The math curriculum follows the California State standards covering all topics from Algebra and Geometry to Data Analysis and Probability to Calculus and Financial Literacy. Students will be provided opportunities to develop 21st-century skills by learning how to communicate and collaborate, problem-solve, think critically, and analyze their solutions.
30 credits are required for graduation.
- Students must pass the 2nd semester of Math 1 or the 1st semester of Humanities Math 102 to graduate.
- Students must take Math 3, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus to fulfill the "C" category of the UC/CSU entrance requirement.
Three years of Math are required, but four years are recommended for the "C" category of the UC/CSU entrance requirement.
