ACADEMY NEWS

AVID

AVID took 44 juniors to visit 5 universities in 2 days. They visited Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Fullerton, University of San Diego, SDSU, & UCI. They also heard from former Triton, Jaylena Lucero c/o 2019 at CSUF. They asked her questions about college life & her experiences. The most positive moment was when a server commented on how polite they were & she appreciated how respectful they were. Many memories were made & everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you to Mr. Calderon, Mr. Brister, Ms. Guillen & Mr. Lawrence for helping these kids get more information as they head towards the college of their choice  #GoTritons
