Our King Triton Fishing Club participated in an IGFA casting clinic, which was hosted by the Reel Guppy Outdoors Program, this past weekend. The Reel Guppy Outdoors Program is a local non-profit organization that promotes fishing to youth in the area.The IGFA is a nonprofit organization committed to the conservation of game fish and the promotion of responsible, ethical angling practices through science, education, rule making, record keeping and recognition of outstanding accomplishments in the field of angling. The students visited several stations to learn knot tying, casting, and ocean conservation. At the end of the clinic the Reel Guppy program gifted all attendees with brand new fishing poles, a tackle box and fishing supplies.

AOB-ACADEMY OF BUSINESS
Busy week for AOB! On Tuesday October 22, the sophomores got a visit from a great speaker Charissa Rubey from the Dakota Micro. She has an incredible success story with the AgCam. Thank you for spreading your knowledge with our future leaders. Then on Wednesday October 23rd, some of the AOB student got an amazing opportunity to take a college trip to visit Cal State Northridge. Keep up the great work Tritons!
HSA-HEALTH SCIENCE ACADEMY
Alma Andrade, former HSA student, spoke with the HSA Sophomores & Juniors. Alma covered time management, college life & information about the CSUCI Nursing program.
In partnership with the National Restaurant Association, PHS Culinary Arts students interacted with employees from BJ’s and Aloha Steakhouse as a part of the “Land It, Work It, Lead It” initiative that was a part of nationwide FIT Day Training.

Our amazing Tritons volunteered at the Ventura Marathon today feeding over 2,000 competitors this past weekend!! Wow, what a great way to represent PHS!!
