Peer Resource

April 11 during 3rd and 4th period our 0 period Peer Resource class and Friday Night Live Club sponsored  40+ classes as they toured a crashed car provided by the County of Ventura and Oxnard Police Department (with the collaboration of Ventura Police Department). The 3rd and 4th-period students were able to see the results of a Ventura 2011 fatal distracted driving accident.  Students were able to walk around the car, view a video, participate in a ‘scavenger hunt’ of information and those who had the correct answers won a Friday Night Live T-shirt.


Pacifica High School will be holding its prom this year at Universal Studios in Hollywood on Saturday, May 12 from 8 pm to midnight. Tickets will go on sale Monday, April 23 through Friday, May 4. They are $120 which includes dinner, desserts, dancing, activities, and after-prom party. A ticket with bus transportation is $135.  Students may pick up detailed information sheets in the ASB Room.




Our Triton ELLRT team, attended the OUHSD’s EL Cohort workshop at the VCOE on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, where we discussed our action plan and began to develop our ELL plan for the 2018-19 school year. A BIG thank you to our ELLRT team; Allison Holicky, David Ramos, Liliana Mejia, Cynthia Hernandez, Carmen Peralta, Rachel Carver and Araceli Martell for your continuous support to our students.


Counselors are continuing with in-house registration for the 2018-2019 school year and will do so through April 24th. While meeting with students, counselors are discussing credit recovery options, graduation and A-G requirements, ROP and college and career readiness plans.
